Yeah, these dumbasses still haven’t realized that they can’t do this shit themselves. Someone should tell them they have to pay other people to do it while pretending they’re not affiliated.

Yet enough of the population supports them, that with the help of he media, and the right wing and corporate interests that interfere to help them get the nominations because they can be beaten/don’t pose a threat to their interests, that they can force them through again as the nomination, maybe not her but Newsome for the lose this time, to run as status quo, because they aren’t the other guy, nevermind the rigging in plain sight.

Seriously without organization it’s hopeless and we all are already lost, because these controlled opposition figures will continue to waste all of our efforts and frustrate any attempt to prevent the existential threats the right is pushing from coming to fruition.

Their sheep are not that many, but with the media, the influence operations, the right that manipulates us online in their favor, it seems to many other factions of the democratic electorate that they are the safe choice, that they are the inevitable choice. And throws the election, and as we saw with biden, winning changes nothing.

They don’t have any to lose. They are so unpopular their only chance at meaningful wins on a national level is the Refining being so profoundly incompetent it hurts swing voters.

Newsome and Pritzker had their chance in 2024 and declined to take the nomination, there for the taking.

What is wrong with the party, we have zero challenges? Only token challenges for president by an old leftist, that still almost wins. No challenges for house or senate. Then 2024 not a single challenge for the top spot, 4 plus months to go, proposed anointee the most unpopular person possible, that never breached 30% approval for a deeply unpopular administration at 40% approval for 3 years.

Then didn’t see fit to offer any reform running as that deeply unpopular status quo. No health care, no drugs, no calling out business interests openly cheating us. Broad empty platitudes, we aren’t the republicans.

Everyone in the party needs to be replaced with maybe a few exceptions. They were chosen to be weak, chosen because the donors fear someone taking back the license they’ve corruptly garnered through captured government, fear a populist government would modestly impair their record profits from their companies.

the same thing happened to millennials. they got blamed for being stupid teenagers when they were in their mid twenties. it seems it takes about a generation for the old folks to catch up what’s the new word for the youths nowadays, by then it’s often barely accurate anymore

The generational concept is also a bit weird, like if huge waves of children would be born every 10 years lol

yeah it’s a bit weird agreed. i think it attempts to describe more a culture of the youth of a certain decade rather than the people on their own? idk

Well, there was after WWII. And a smaller wave when boomers came of age. Though boomers have been trying to shoehorn us into generational boxes ever since.

        No.

She was one of the central players that lost the Republic. I don’t ever want to see her fucking face again in politics.

She was a bad candidate in 2016 and 2020, and she was demonstrably a catastrophic choice in 2024. And by that I mean her lack of backbone in standing up to monied interests shows that she entirely lacks the grit and will that our current era demands. Too much compromise with the neoliberals and hypercapitalists, not enough listening to actually fucking citizens and lived experience. Walz was the brightest spot in her campaign. And then she and the DNC muzzled him, with predictable results.

There are no “good candidates”, the central players that defeated the Republic are the collaborative efforts of a group of billionaires and foreign dictatorships turning social media against democracy. Any progressive candidate will face the same uphill battle and the nation will slide further into conservative autocracy unless we do something to stop it.

Biden tried to broker peace, withheld large bombs that Israel had already paid for. Trump and other GOP candidates are favored by Israel, explicitly endorsed by Netanyahu.

If you care about Palestinians then you should endorse Kamala and whoever else the DNC candidates are, because the alternative is worse.

The DNC have never supported Genocide. Biden tried to broker peace, withheld ordinance. He did not do enough, that is true, but the GOP explicitly do support actual genocide and by not supporting the DNC you’ve enabled the genocide.

With a single digit quantity of exceptions, the vast majority of our political establishment are somewhere between overt fascists and inept, useful idiots who are manifestly unfit to face the challenges of this fucked up new era we find ourselves in.

I have and I do. I am under no illusions that the “less bad” party is actually trying meaningfully to improve things, or that it will do anything to stop the fascists. Because they’re not doing anything to stop the fascists.
