    I dated a girl who’s family never kept leftovers from meals even thanksgiving dinner they would throw out anything not eaten after dinner.

                Extra worst! As another example her dad who is no longer alive was close friends with that Bundy family from southern Nevada that had that stand off with the government.

              I know nothing about mormonism except for surface-level info and memes, but I would have assumed they’d be more frugal types.

                Yes they run the gamut of how they live their lives. I know some in the Mormon community who are very frugal and save and what not. And there are many people i have known in the Mormon community who act like they are Hollywood celebrities and are just wasteful with everything. Always buying a new car or truck, selling and moving into bigger houses, buying expensive name brands clothes etc.

      I’ve been to a fancy restaurant before. We were given dirty looks for leaving with a bag of leftovers.
