I hear that all the time. Including from coworkers in the same area. I guess I’ve just been lucky. I keep track of it and my messed up items (wrong flavor/expired/opened/damaged) is like 2-3%. Which is probably better than my own track record TBH.
But I also do my best to lessen the burden on the shoppers. I try to keep it simple, I try to pick slow times & nice weather, I try to tip well.
I got so sick of the shoppers screwing up my items and or getting crappy items, that I stopped getting food delivered.
