No, not at all. I only get upset because I’ve already asked myself many times to no avail, and the 28th time isn’t going to be the ticket.

No, and I get irrationally angry when I’m looking for something and someone asks “Well, where would you have put it?”
“You better start calling 911 now!”
The only thing that worked was putting up a bunch of cameras so I can go back and look to see where my brain thought was a good spot to sit something in the moment.

I’d like to join/help. Dm me the discord.
And for anyone wondering, I was able to get the app working in linux pretty easily (installed via Bottles as a “productivity app”).
Edit: they updated the app. Still trying to get that running.

I was able to install it through Bottles as a “productivity app” and it worked right out of the box (Fedora 43). Haven’t 100% function checked it yet, but so far so good.

I hear that all the time. Including from coworkers in the same area. I guess I’ve just been lucky. I keep track of it and my messed up items (wrong flavor/expired/opened/damaged) is like 2-3%. Which is probably better than my own track record TBH.
But I also do my best to lessen the burden on the shoppers. I try to keep it simple, I try to pick slow times & nice weather, I try to tip well.

I’ve rarely been in a grocery store since covid. Once they rolled out order online and pick it up later, I’m never willingly going back.
So I guess that counts as making a list.

Supposed to pay for someone to come around and pump it out. But this was the Caribbean, you don’t get in any trouble as long as you can afford the bribe.

Cleaning the underside of rich people’s boats. I didn’t have access to actual scuba gear so I would snorkel around disgusting harbors, holding my breath and scraping/scrubbing barnacles off by hand.
Wasn’t bad money, but it was gross. People weren’t supposed to release their sewage in the harbor. But they did. Thankfully only did that a couple times before finding much better work.

Moved out as soon as I was 18. Kinda wish I hadn’t have, little bro is still living there at ~35 and has it pretty nice.

I built my own DC++ hub with blackjack and hookers in the wake of the original fall of the house of lime. It was fun for a few years.

Sweet, Limewire is back?
The new LimeWire once again reshapes the way people can store, create and collaborate on content, with the power of AI.
Le sigh.

Mechanic isn’t a great example. That’s one of the few jobs where most of the time your pay is directly tied to your performance.

If all you do is read the little statements booklet they send out, and then do the mail vote based on that,
… then you are no better informed than Bob, who is voting for the guy his pastor told him to. People should personally vet any candidate they are voting on. AI will make that more and more difficult moving forward.

I think that’s the point. You can trade some privacy for convenience if you insist.

That’s just on the $25 plan because it’s auto-pay only. The other plans accept crypto.

It’s all good, I’ve learned to work around it. The camera part wasn’t a joke; a couple motion tracking cameras in my work area saves me dozens of hours a year if not more.
