There have been two major organizations that have come out of Dearborn that have put a spotlight on the importance of the Arab and Muslim vote. One of those organizations is the Uncommitted National Movement and the other is the Abandon Harris, formally known as the Abandon Biden campaign.

While they are two different groups, the main goal of the Uncommitted National Movement and Abandon Harris is to call for a ceasefire in Gaza.

“The only group that mobilized 101,000 voters to show up to the ballot box and raise their hands and say I need you to inspire me was the Listen to Michigan, Uncommitted National Movement and we came out of that experience and made an offer to the vice president’s campaign,” said Abbas Alawieh, co-founder of the Uncommitted National Movement.

“The entirety of our organizing anti-war voters, we heard from Democratic leaders say hey we sympathize with you but it has to wait until after the election as if our family lives could just be put on hold,” Alaweih added.

Alaweih says Democratic leaders did not listen to Arab and Muslim voters and he feels that helped President-elect Donald Trump win.

“In Dearborn, Michigan, Donald Trump has won the majority of votes,” said Alaweih. “This was entirely avoidable.”

Ah, here we go, we found a minority group to blame for the election outcome in 3 days. Anyone want to place bets on the next group?

One minority group? Bruh, diversification is key to success in capitalism.

Muslims, Hispanics, Asians, Indians, poors, women, queers… Leopards are coming for everyone’s faces.

They’re blaming Hispanics as well, and black men. Basically anyone except the only group that did vote for Trump with over 50% of vote share: white people.

Never mind that the Democratic party could’ve easily turned out the vote from their base by delivering or even promising anything of the below for them:

      • taxing the rich
      • enforcing anti-trust laws as a way to keep prices for anything low
      • raising the minimum wage
      • forgiving student loans for everyone instead of dicking around with various rules to figure out who’s deserving
      • child tax credit

And for the love of God, stop passing laws that will only kick in after the election. Forcing producers to drop insulin prices was great, but it only kicks in next year, so now Trump gets to take credit for that one, same as how he put his signature on the pandemic checks that the Democratic Congress forced him to pass.

All the finger pointing we’re seeing is a distraction. Entirely concocted. We’re supposed to pay attention to it instead of demanding the votes get counted independently of the machines.

Trump won this fair and square, as much as it sucks to admit. I sincerely doubt there were enough stolen votes to matter anywhere; he just ran a competent campaign and Harris didn’t.

          fair and square

LMAO someone hasn’t been paying attention the last few decades and thinks the system is designed to be fair, or for some reason is forgetting that fact to try and make a point…

I’m not saying Harris ran a good campaign. It was misstep after misstep, and don’t even get me started on Cheney…

But this election was not a fair one, nor has there ever been a fair election. It was designed to favor a specific class/group from the start.
