That shows “President Joe Biden has lost no immediate ground to Trump,” per Morning Consult’s findings.

The vast majority of voters made up their minds long ago. The Republican Party has been in disarray for several year without losing significant support. This debate with not be much different for the Democrats. People aren’t budging.

There may be a few moderates and independents who could still move, but there’s plenty of awfulness to turn off independents on the Republican side as well.

There’s probably no difference. People made up their minds on Biden vs Trump a long time ago and nobody’s budging. Debate is not going to make any difference either.

The Republican Party has been mired in scandal for years but has lost no support. People are in their trenches.

It seems like everyone is voting against a candidate and no one is voting for one. I bet that if either major party replaced their candidate, they would take the White House in a landslide.

I think Biden has done a very good job, but I’d be more excited to vote for Gretchen Whitmer or Gavin Newsom or Josh Shapiro.

That has been the case for every election that’s ever existed. What we want is always overtaken by what we don’t want.

I’m an old man now, and I realized at some point that I won’t get what I want. Now I just want to position my community and my country in a way that following generations don’t have to dig out of a massive hole to find their own progress.

And that means Biden or Harris or whoever.
