France’s domestic intelligence agency DGSI will replace tools from U.S. tech firm Palantir in favour of a French rival, ChapsVision, the French Prime Minister’s office said on Tuesday, although the process is likely to take several years.

France is based. They’ve been shouting we should care about strategic autonomy and digital sovereignty way before it was cool (and really necessary).
That’s not really solving the problem, but it’s solving a problem.
It‘s a shame they can‘t see a way to operate without total surveillance in the first place.
