Rishi Sunak:
It was a missile with a dummy warhead. Why would they put “nuclear missile” in the title as if it was a live fucking nuke that crashed into the ocean?
I guess they want to highlight that it’s a nuclear delivery platform, but yeah somewhat misleading.
NoRtH KoReA FAILS at BalLiStIc MiSSilE! TEST!!!
Yet another strong and stable Trident misfire.
Tridend’nt
Try dent.
Try
if there was a god, it woulve misfired directly into the royal palace.
Seems a lot like everything the DPRK is accused of is actually the UK. Failed missile tests, cults of personality around an actual monarch, questionable food…
Do we have any evidence that brits don’t push trains to work every day?
“During the test an anomaly occurred. As a matter of national security, we cannot provide further information on this, however we are confident that the anomaly was event specific, and therefore there are no implications for the reliability of the wider Trident missile systems and stockpile. The UK’s nuclear deterrent remains safe, secure and effective.”
Yeah okay.
Aren’t Trident fairly old tech? So shouldn’t they be well tried and tested?
Where was it aimed originally?
Not right next to the sub I’m gonna guess. :)
“Throw my Trident into the sky and bury me where it lands…”
