    Some really interesting points in this talk. Beebe’s answer to the question of what happens if a political end isn’t found is interesting. Russia might just take the areas they want and dig in while sending missiles to keep ukraine destroyed and uninhabitable.

      I outlined this exact scenario three years ago, and it’s the first time I’ve seen somebody else mention this obvious option. What he doesn’t say is that Europe would be faced with the choice of either pouring untold billions into propping Ukraine up, or they’ll be faced with a flood of refugees that their already struggling economies are ill equipped to absorb. Europe will be locked in for an economic collapse at that point, and the whole EU project would unravel. This would be a way for Russia to solve the NATO problem once and for all.
