The former German foreign minister Sigmar Gabriel has proposed offering Canada partial membership in the European Union. Yes but then you’d need NATO’s approval. Remember how Erdogan put all sorts of 'but’s to Finland and Sweden, countries with way more wealth (and more arguments to be included in NATO) than one like mine
