Case after case challenging gun restrictions cites the same Georgetown professor. His seemingly independent work has undisclosed ties to pro-gun interests.

I liked it when Hunter Biden’s second amendment rights were being infringed so the NRA (being completely apolitical like always) backed him.

As I said elsewhere in the discussion:

In this case, it means that the “independent” expert claiming that guns are frequently used in self-defense is actually paid by them. It’s a common theme when a product is really harmful.

I was curious about the details, so had to look them up. Once I had them, it seemed helpful to share. Peace.

WTF, why are you getting down votes for a thank you?

Another example of political groups using money to make whatever conclusion that fits their agenda. Add this to the fact it’s illegal to have government lead or government data for comprehensive gun death studies means we’re all in the dark about the real affect.

We’ve got a very good idea because California allows study: gun ownership means you’re a lot more likely to shoot a member of your household than use it in self defense to prevent a killing, as well as much more likely to kill yourself or have a household member kill themlself
