I suspect the main issues people ‘in the wild’ have with signal involves ineffective use of the app. Do you check the ‘safety number’ with every user? Do you use disappearing messages? Does anyone have access to your phone, or other linked device?

This is particularly insidious, as they claim to use the same encryption as Signal, developed by Open Whisper Systems. But Meta allows themselves access. 2 billion users. SMH.
whatsapp is owned by Meta. I did a quick DDG search to see if I was correct and got this:
“Meta owns several companies, including Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, Messenger, Threads, Meta Quest, Horizon Worlds, Ray-Ban Stories, Mapillary, Workplace, and Portal (discontinued).”
I’ve been working to get the people I communicate with on Signal.app, instead. Other more informed individuals may be able to make additional suggestions.

See, you almost escaped trollism. You’ve presented evidence in favor of a stated position. And you trolled everyone in this post on the way to something you could have stated in the original comment. With a little practic SMCF, I believe in you, you could do it. Time will tell how you choose.
It’s not your beliefs, bur rather your trolly behavior, which by the statement above, I believe indicates your are in fact acting as a troll. Tho’ I hold out the possibility that you could abandon those trolly behaviors, if you chose to do so. I’m not entirely sure you believe the statement I’ve called out as trolly. If you had some belief in that area, you might have also evidence to support that belief. Do you also, as you state you do, have beliefs for which there is no evidence? Maybe you shouldn’t “believe everything you think.”
So you literally have no proof. You just made an assertion, to see how people would respond. SMCF, will you abandon your trolly behavior?

As a child, once I learned to read, I started to really learn. And naturally shared all the fun facts with most anyone who would listen.
