Went through warranty replacement for a TV and was simply asked to write “void” and a big X on the warranty sticker. Even had the option to give the almost perfectly fine TV away (I did to someone who greatly benefited from it)

Typing this on a fold4 would just like to chime in that after a year of ownership the inner screen did fail seemingly for no reason. I was able to get this fixed but I just want to stress they do have some problems.
Partner has gone through 3 flip4 in the same amount of time though that phone is garbage.
Oh hey their return to office demand wasn’t about productivity it was a soft layoff like everyone said wow.
He’s Laotian aren’t you mister Khan?
WinCo is awesome.
I tried to watch the last matrix but it just isn’t nearly as good as the trilogy.
The matrix was built as a result of humans trying to take AI electricity by “striking the skies”. so once we try to kill AI well get the matrix and I for one can’t wait for slider Nokias to make a comeback.
Fortunately they still require electricity.
Here have the standard HR answer: sorry we don’t have the budget due to outside factors, also we’re doing layoffs in your department.
Nearly 5k no thanks lmao
Just bring the Honda-e over here ffs.
I like osmand for off-grid motorcycle type stuff but I’ve found it to be somewhat useless for final mile navigation especially ironically in the city. I still use it as it’s awesome and allows pre-planned offline routes but I also still use gmaps as well. When I drove trucks for a living I found that the Garmin (truck specific but buy what you need) GPS to be quite amazing and will probably buy one of those for my car someday.
No lol It’s so low maintenance that it took me about a month to figure out why it kept crashing. The answer was completely my fault as I forgot I gave the container running it only about 8gb of disk space and it filled up.
I only log into the console to check some metrics/verify no issues/run updates and I maybe do that once every 3 months. I don’t have my pi-hole set up the same way as the basic tutorial but as far as lists go I just subscribed and forgot.
Worth noting my pihole is really only good for banner ads or ads that rely on DNS. YouTube ads require a clientside adblocker so far.
Certain irony in these companies splitting their content and now considering merging it back.
I’m glad I could contribute to their lack of profit by simply not paying any of them.
Look man I’m not looking for a flame war here but I live in Texas, I myself own a firearm. How exactly do you determine at a glance who the “good guy with a gun” is? You simply can’t. It seems completely reasonable to restrict areas guns are allowed at which is something we already do with the 30.06 signs. Why do you need/want to carry a gun at a zoo, park, or for that matter Walmart? Before you say “for my personal protection” I want you to think for a moment. If you fired a shot at a zoo, and missed you very likely could hit a child. Plus at least here in Texas it’s completely normal to see metal detectors/no gun signs at the places this would have taken affect at.
Realize this but my companies solution was to just print that version and scan back in the resulting version which cannot be undone. Stupid and wastful but saved us from buying a ton of Adobe licenses.
Adobe acrobat has 3 tiers Free which is useless Acrobat which has 90% of everything you’ll ever need except for that one time you’ll need to censor a portion of the document which is only available in
Acrobat pro which is another 10$ a month on top of regular acrobat (20$ a month) and offers literally 2 extra features that previously were not separated.
Or you can change the highlighter to black and use that instead.
Fuck Adobe.
I have the original 500e (ya know the one with “80” miles of range) they’re quite popular and very useful day to day. I agree the new 500e is too expensive but I think the range is fine…also the original 500e was about the same price but these days dirt cheap.
Back to the topic at hand: Fuck battery swaps, it’s a bad idea with good intentions and that’s why it keeps failing except for PEV (personal electric vehicles) such as mopeds/ebikes.
I’m glad you think you know what happened. I’m happy to say you don’t. I’m also not going to bother replying as the whole point of my original post is that it happened and I no longer use Windows.
For what it’s worth I too do this for a living :)
Never understood why this isn’t on every distro and DE ever. I want DSL with wobbly windows damnit.
