I’m not sure why this is the focus rather than legislating that router/access point manufacturers create robust and simple to use parental controls and then running public service campaigns that educate parents on how to use them.

I’m not trying to erase something that existed, I’m asking my family to reframe my childhood from the way they saw it to the way I actually experienced it. They’re empathetic and they love me, so they do me that service.

I would ask a reporter attempting to cover my life story to do so in a way that’s consistent with how I want my life to be portrayed. Seems like basic respect.

I transitioned at 17 though; referring to someone who transitioned later in life can be somewhat different.

I’m not really sure what removing a female sex offender’s ovaries are supposed to do to prevent recidivism. As far as I’m aware, that wouldn’t do anything but send her into early menopause; restlessness, irritability, and libido might actually increase, which may make reoffending more likely.

Living longer doesn’t necessarily mean that your bones are healthy. Osteoporosis is much more likely without adequate sex hormone production.

Every male in the US under a certain age (I think it’s close to 30? I’m not American) has to register under penalty of law.

This also applies to immigrant boys/men who become citizens and transgender men (people born female who gain legal recognition as a male).
