Quit this dumbass job

WhatsApp is absolutely a bigger privacy nightmare

For 2FA I’ve been using Aegis (FOSS). Dunno how it compares to Ente Auth

Unfortunately no. I’m in a similar place to you, currently using Proton and SimoleLogin but hoping to switch to a custom domain and move from Proton. Tuta has been a strong recommendation here but I don’t have personal experience with them yet.

Just to mention it, addy.io is partnered with Tuta much like SimpleLogin is partnered with Proton.

What is the /gen signifying?

No folders. I gave up on that a long time ago. It is too much maintenance to organize everything and it doesn’t really help you find things that much. I just scroll through the alphabetical drawer of all apps to find what I need.

Ham (or bacon) egg and cheese, always. With the egg over medium if I’m cooking. The bread can vary. I like an everything bagel though.

D1’s main theme (edit: the town theme) hit me so hard as a kid

ass

I know they’re right. But I prefer not to use a Chrome browser.

I prefer not using a Chrome browser

Yes, we have.

Most people helping in the street are not monetizing it as content. Only the ones you see on YouTube

Try to consider being kind as its own reward, rather than something you do to gain another result

TBH while I’m a fan of the app, @begrudgedcarfolk@sh.itjust.works has a point that it’s annoying when full privacy requires pouring through every setting you don’t even know exists. I’d love for apps to be fully private by default. I don’t prefer to blindly trust passing data through third-parties. In this case though, you can see the link that will be shared before you do so, so I don’t feel the Voyager dev(s) are doing anything too shady.

Oh, I see! Turns out this is a user setting in the app:

Can you explain what you mean about the sharing? I don’t notice any redirection when sharing in Voyager

Ah I didn’t see that, might have been blocked by my ad blocker. Still found it weird how it just kept referring to “a YouTuber” instead of saying his name.
