2·3 months agoPersonally I’d rather not see corporations get even more personified. We’ve already got a massive fascism problem that has been brewing for 100+ years. If you want to see the move away from fascism then government will need to hold stakeholders accountable for the CEO’s actions. Until then the CEO will continue to be the very well paid fall guy for corporate fuckery while the actual decision makers are untouchable.
The hilarious bit about this is that’s not even his meme format lmao. That’s another dude. He’s just gonna be another unknown after this all dies down.
Prisons are full of contraband. I imagine it’s just that much easier on the outside.

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•Have you or anyone you know caught an undiagnosable illness?
2·3 months agoYour parents should have gone to a doctor in Switzerland.
I know they have much better healthcare there, but they weren’t showing symptoms until after they returned to the US and I don’t know many well people that waste time going to doctors lol

Asklemmy@lemmy.ml•What are some good masculine names that would match my vibe?
1·3 months agoZeb (i assume it could be short for Zebulon) is a more common name than I ever expected. I’ve known about 3 different people named Zeb in about 40 years.

4·3 months agosomehow.
The barrier for entry between consoles and PC is basically identical at this point, and they’re both easy enough that anyone but infants and late stage dementia sufferers can access these days. I imagine only those with an interest in the actual hardware would be relegated to family tech support
Uhh, I absolutely do own the hardware that is the computer.

Not everything needs to be put in words though. Simply saying “I agree” with nothing more to the comment is just wasting everyone’s time, except for the single person they replied to getting an ego boost. The thing about comments is they’re public, they’re for more than just the recipient. You’re trying to make comments like DMs, where people can privately circlejerk until they’re both spent.
Learn to not care about being downvoted. Unless there’s some dumb rule about too many downvotes leads to disciplinary action. You want echo chambers, I’m trying to get away from echo chambers, as are a lot of others i imagine
At one point reddit also had no queen community. Someone created it and built it into what it is now. You can do the same here, that’s kinda the point.

8·4 months agoIt would be trivial for them to write it so it bans it for citizen use but is allowed for corporate and government use. The people have no rights anymore

The change my mind meme is a different guy lmao calling him that is almost a meme itself at this point. Kirk was the Turning Point USA meme where it had some onion-esque statement and a picture of Charlie on it with his face constantly being shopped smaller and smaller each time
