I think of CDDA as mostly Dwarf Fortress with vehicles. Just as complex in the combat, but not as complex in world gen or with civilizations (because zombies who cares lol), but the vehicle building and sim is as far as I would expect DF to have, if it had vehicles.

I once made a giant mobile fortress that could just drive straight through most anything that wasn’t made of metal.

I think about this all the time and I still have no idea.

A good chunk of that money would end up going to experts to advise me how best to use it since I would want to maximize what good I could bring… 😩

After my experience getting assaulted and having two of my ribs broken by someone I knew, with witnesses and video of it? Fucking never. They didn’t do shit.

Dwarf Fortress is, mechanically, almost everything I think a game should be. And the only reason it’s only almost is because it’s not finished yet.

Isn’t there aome kind of openC&C thing that basically remasters it, adds better modding support and modernizes the controls, similar to OpenTTD? 🤔

I swear I fucked around with something like that a while back because I wanted to get down on some Tiberian Sun but I couldn’t even get my discs to install on Windows 10.

I remember a blue Pepsi that was hella fucking good back when I was in high school. I miss that. It was a pretty sour berry flavor; might have been blue raspberry but it was also pretty unique and one of the sweetest, yet still tolerable, sodas I’ve ever tried.

I also miss Dr. Slice. It wasn’t a Dr. Pepper knock off; it was an official mix of Dr. Pepper and Slice. Not sure if it was orange slice, but it was better than regular Dr. Pepper and I only ever saw it at one random ass restaurant in the small town I had lived in most of my life.

I have a Pixel 8.

It’s quirk is that every now and then, I have to manually force Pixel Launcher to close or I can’t minimize/switch apps. Basically since getting the phone, and going to their support pages/forums it’s a super common issue that’s existed since launch. And the fuckers won’t fix it.

And also the AI assistant thing, despite being turned off completely, still sometimes activates randomly as if you said “hey google.” Sometimes in the middle of the night in completely dead silence.

He was only my son-in-law because his wife was my step-daughter. Are we still related even though the only thing relating us was my marriage? I honestly don’t know.
