Whitechapel - Devolver - I’m actually surprised no one has used it for any type of entrance anywhere. It’s got the little splash of sound in the beginning. You get two measures of this chugging guitar, then Phil kicks in and it’s perfect. It’s a fast song. The lyrics are the opposite of motivational but if you’re a heel it doesn’t matter. I would use this for baseball. I would use this for Football. It’s practically made for wrestling.
IT’S MAHVEL BABY!
I chose Arch as my first and only distro 13 years ago. Only had system breaking problems a handful of times in that span. They were all because I fucked something up playing with files I shouldn’t have. These are all tired memes from old reputations. Pay attention to what you’re doing and you’ll be fine.
That’s refreshing to hear. I really got tired of messing with my nvim config all the time. I’m in that state with Emacs right now but I hope that once I’m done it’s a set it and forget it experience.
I’m honestly torn between Nvim and Emacs right now. I’m a long time vim user and been on Nvim for 10+ years. The rate at which they change config methods kinda drives me nuts. The change from vimscript to lua, and then a new mixup of lua to another syntax of lua, NEED TO CHANGE THE LUA!!! It’s too much. I really did a yearly config rewrite for a while because the plugin ecosystem moves lightning fast. Now most of the time I feel like I’m using a half baked config solution even on a new from scratch setup.
Emacs feels like a breath of fresh air. I’m still working out the kinks but it feels like it just works when I tell it to do something. I’m not using evil mode. I dove head first into vanilla and it’s been really nice. ELisp is wild. I have no fucking clue what I’m doing with it, but it all seems to be working. The fact that it took me 3 days to get my Emacs setup to where I am with Nvim and beyond was a great start to the switch. I’m really enjoying Emacs and there’s definitely a past version of me going ‘What the fuck’ right now.
BSPWM was my favorite back in the day. Used Hyperland and i3 for a while. I much prefer KDE over Gnome. Mangowm is where it’s at how.
What case are you using? I’ve got a LianLi Lancool 216. It’s a little loud but it runs just fine for me.
Oh no. I’m joking about Mayor Parker of Philly. I made a bad joke.
I just want a mayor that wants to do the job and can spell the football team’s name. Is that too much to ask?
A good meal and hiding with my dog.
I believe our atoms scatter off and bounce into the next thing they can cling to over and over again until we make up a new being. Then we start over.
If it was up to me our souls would convene out in space, get a fresh coat of paint, a report on how we did this go around, then go off to do whatever’s next.
The nerd in me says a solar generator, a laptop and a book on computing. See what they come up with.
Anybody else remember publishers trying to push the idea that games needed to be digital only because packaging and shipping games was too expensive?
Start here. https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=313892
AUR, the Arch User Repository is under an attack. The attack vector is any orphaned package that doesn’t have a current maintainer. Those packages are being taken over by a malicious group. https://redlib.catsarch.com/r/archlinux/comments/1u3tn4e/tons_of_new_infected_aur_packages_were_just/ If a package maintainer quits/leaves/abandons a project, anybody can take control of the package if there’s been no maintainer for a certain period of time. What we’re learning now is that this process could be automated and done en masse. They’re modifying PKGBUILD files to use a java script installer like npm, bun, yarn, nodejs to shove malware onto a system. So if you have a package that’s marked as infected and you’ve updated your PC using an AUR helper like yay or paru during this time without checking the PKGBUILD you could be in trouble.
What users are advised to do is not update any AUR packages until otherwise noted. Scan your systems for any packages where the PKGBUILD reports installing an atomic-lockfile, js-digest file through npm, bun, nodejs, yarn and the like. Delete those packages.
The number of infected packages has gone from 400 to 600 to 1500 in a matter of hours last night. The AUR team has been on top of it almost the moment it got recognized. The AUR has well over 100,000 packages. Last night another user ran some numbers and at the time 718 infected packages had no users at all. The most popular package is an old Gnome dependency libgdata that was dropped years ago but could still be on systems. There’s a lot of old packages using ancient python2 deps that look to be infected as well. https://redlib.catsarch.com/r/archlinux/comments/1u4fzea/according_to_pkgstats_these_are_the_most_popular/ list of infected packages https://md.archlinux.org/s/SxbqukK6IA Seems like this was caught because old maintainers started getting emails about package updates to old projects they were on. Those OGs sprung into action.
So we’re getting robbed?
Because that’s PA.
I can fucking down a whole pint of Ben and Jerry’s Chunky Money or/and Peanut Butter Cup everyday.
Chicken Wing platter from Hing Wah. Chicken A-La-Tony from Luigis. Cheesesteak from Dalessandros. My Mom’s chicken and dumplings. A piece of carrot cake. A bottle of Kraken and orange soda.
Like 2007 to 2013 was like the peak oversaturation. They just kept coming in that period.
The API shit happened alongside one of the worst arguments I’ve ever gotten on the internet from Reddit. I realized those people lost the plot. I deleted my account.
