macniel@feddit.orgto Europe@feddit.org•EU top diplomat calls for restraint after US 'obliterates' Iran’s nuclear sitesEnglish5·8 days agooh my bad, my geography knowledge failed me this time.
Oh damn, so only Air and Sea combat would be possible, unless Iraq would allow Israel and American armies to pass through?
macniel@feddit.orgto Europe@feddit.org•EU top diplomat calls for restraint after US 'obliterates' Iran’s nuclear sitesEnglish17·8 days agoIran must not be allowed to develop a nuclear weapon, as it would be a threat to international security.
Iran signed the Nuclear Proliferation Treaty, guess which neighboring nation did not?
I urge all sides to step back, return to the negotiating table and prevent further escalation.
So more diplomacy can be sabotaged by the neighboring nation in question?
EU Foreign Ministers will discuss the situation tomorrow.
Which will be pointless as America and Israel (oops) NEED this war to continue destabilizing the far east. And its utterly shameful that they use the same excuse ONCE AGAIN just like in Iraq and Saddams WMDs.

macniel@feddit.orgto KDE@lemmy.kde.social•Rate my setup I'm using klassy for decorations and krohnkite for tiling. I set klassy up to look like a cross between breeze and the windows 7 preset, but with outlines for tiling focus.2·15 days agoDo you use those window actions so often that you need to have them in your window decoration?
But yeah four blank terminals I guess.
Do you have any panels or a wallpaper?

Serverless Functions is a scam anyway.
macniel@feddit.orgto Europe@feddit.org•SAP CEO calls European plan for own cloud data centers completely crazyEnglish731·18 days agoYou can’t succeed by playing it safe; so this sounding crazy sounds like the right direction.
Klein believes that the idea of setting up countless data centers in Europe to compete with the American hyperscalers is completely nonsensical. In his view, this is not a good way to achieve digital sovereignty. What Europe needs, he says, is to use the best technology—such as AI and smart software—to produce more efficiently and improve supply chains.
digital sovereignty, when it comes to the fundamentals, starts with owning the hardware in the first place especially when
US governments ignore court rulings
and the cloud act exists.

The car companies need to make them more affordable.
macniel@feddit.orgto Europe@feddit.org•German car industry calls for reversal of EU 2035 combustion engine banEnglish72·21 days agoJesus Christ… You still have ten fucking years to go all electric. So instead of lamanting get to fucking work!
Cool everyone can use the website they scraped the data from already.
Also anyone can use open weights models? Even those without beefy systems? Please…
AI companies need constantly new training data and straining open infrastructure with high volume requests. While they take everything out of others work they don’t give anything back. It’s literally asocial behaviour.
are you though? Do you need someone to call 0118 999 881 999 119 725 … 3?
