I was in the same boat two years ago.
What I did is that I’ve setup a VM with NixOS in it to play with, learn the language and tweak the configuration file.
The great thing about NixOS is that once I was feeling confident enough to switch I installed NixOS on bare metal, loaded the configuration file I prepared in the VM and I instantly had everything installed and running. (Except for the NVidia drivers, fuck nvidia)
Since then I’ve stayed in nixos and I’m not looking back.
I used it a few times for work even. At the time I had a usb-c hub connected with a screen, Ethernet, 65w charger, a keyboard and mouse and I had my laptop that I was carrying with me.
Once or twice I arrived at work and realized I forgot my computer at home … And I have a 2hour drive … So I connected my phone to the hub and work on it. It worked well to send email, use an internet browser, a bit of document editing and mostly connecting to remote desktops.
An unusual hat works as well. I frequently have people asking questions on my hat.
Same, just black for me. No distraction.
In the UK there is the Nando’s hot sauce that have this vinegary/spicy mix.
You should find a startup incubator of whatever is the equivalent around you.
You have a product idea, it’s great but is just the start. I’m sure 10 other people got up this morning with the same idea. What matters is what you do with this idea.
Now you need to learn how to refine this idea and turn it into a business and for that you need help. This is exactly what startup incubators are here for.
Same provider but I’m paying 6€/months for unlimited calls, text and 40Go of 4G data.
Same issue here
France opposed the Iraq war and said that the Americans were full of shit when they were claiming that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.
Of course the Republicans snowflakes did not enjoy that.
Looking into my two year old bed and seeing that he’s staring at me, awake but without a word.
I did that, I now have two masters degrees in aerospace engineering instead of one for the same number of years and have a crazy fun year in the Czech Republic.
10/10, I would do it again (except I don’t think my liver would survive that anymore)
Do you have the same issue with watermelon ? Because for me watermelon or honeydew have the same kind of taste as cucumber, not as strong but still enough for me to stay away from it.
I used to absolutely hate cucumber, to the point that I could taste it if someone cut a tomato salad with the same knife they used for the cucumber without washing it in between, the whole tomato salad would be ruined for me.
I could smell instantly when someone started chopping cucumber in the other room.
That’s it, my superpower is to detect traces of cucumber.
I love being married, I met my wife 10 years ago and we got married 3 years later.
The wedding was just with our close family and homemade food, nothing expensive.
One big aspect of being married is that our relationship is not a question anymore. By being married we are committed to each other, it means we can make decisions accordingly.
For example I love the house we have, but without being married I don’t think we would have bought it. The house is a lot of work, will take years of renovation and is perfect for our family currently but would not be as good for either of us separately.
So if we were in the mindset that we could split up at any time we would have never bought this house.
I find marriage is actually freeing.
It’s great news, making access to contraception easier is always a good thing.
This is specifically why France developed their nuclear arsenal under De Gaulle.
De Gaulle believed that the Americans could not be trusted to defend Europe, he was afraid that if the Russians would attack Europe with nuclear weapons the US would not defend us.
I used CATIA professionally. It’s a beast.
I was working on machining parts for the aircraft engines that powers most Airbus and Boeing and we were using Catia for the design and machining of the engines.
Here is the electricity mix of the Netherlands since 2017
It was defined as
The stick of metal in Paris is just so people don’t have to do measure the distance between the north pole and the equator each time they want to check their measuring tool.
