1 month agoOO ShutUp+ has no problem disabling Recall and I’ve had no file explorer issue from it. I also had to rerun OSU+ after each update as its a setting Microsoft resets.

I was able to get my Toyota’s DCM disabled and did a data collection opt-out with the company. It was a total pain in the ass and they tried very hard to dissuade me, but it is possible (depending on manufacturer).

92·3 months agoNicotine-free vapes still develop the oral habit in children and has been shown to be an easy entry into other vapes. Also propalene glycol really isn’t great for your lungs, and constantly sucking on a vape that uses it does negatively effect your breathing.

Umm… I am an American, and never said anything about hating the place. I dislike the American attitude I encounter daily that everything happening here has more importance and everywhere else is irrelevant.

I guess I’m just not seeing the actual legal mechanism that would be used to force any kind of change.
My understanding is any change to the structure of government at that level requires 2/3rds congressional majority.
Lol wut? Even on Windows 11, I can use a local account with zero online signup. Linux is fantastic, I have two machines running it, but there are some specific softwares that are still Windows dependent (think video editing, music production, VFX).
