Acknowledging a genocide is “spreading anti-Israel propaganda”?

Spoken as though there is consensus that it is a genocide, or that Israel’s actions have been legally found to be a genocide, neither is true. More info can be found here about the basis of such accusations.

Good day, I hope Hamas gives you a gold star for your efforts.

Can you agree that, even if it’s not a genocide, that the deaths of so many civilians and the utter destruction of the infrastructure of Gaza is not just unwarranted, but immoral and unethical? That the actions of Israel are not in any way defensible?

Or is that just “hamas propaganda”?

Why use a publicly editable wiki page?

Why not an article about the ICJ ruling?

“At least some of the acts and omissions alleged by South Africa to have been committed by Israel in Gaza appear to be capable of falling within the provisions of the (Genocide) Convention,” the judges said. The ruling required Israel to prevent and punish any public incitements to commit genocide against Palestinians in Gaza and to preserve evidence related to any allegations of genocide there. Israel must also take measures to improve the humanitarian situation for Palestinian civilians in the enclave, it said.

It doesn’t need to be a consensus, we have the ruling from the International Court:

      https://www.amnesty.org/en/latest/news/2024/01/israel-must-comply-with-key-icj-ruling-ordering-it-do-all-in-its-power-to-prevent-genocide-against-palestinians-in-gaza/

“The ruling issued by the ICJ ordered six provisional measures including for Israel to refrain from acts under the Genocide convention, prevent and punish the direct and public incitement to genocide, and take immediate and effective measures to ensure the provision of humanitarian assistance to civilians in Gaza. Crucially, the Court also ordered Israel to preserve evidence of genocide and to submit a report to the Court, within one month, of all measures taken in line with its order.”
