The guy has no work-life balance and will likely put in insane hours. He’s warning there will be extra effort to put in, extra time, all companies do this but usually not so bad. While I’m happy not to work there, the important parts are whether he pays them appropriately for that kind of overtime, whether it’s temporary, and whether they can refuse without retribution
I believe I read that everyone gets stock, to participate in the success of the company. Surely that helps
