The Wall Street Journal warns that the investigation into the Nord Stream pipeline explosions “threatens to fracture support for Ukraine.”
German investigators reportedly believe Kiev was behind the sabotage, specifically pointing to former Ukrainian commander-in-chief Valery Zaluzhny.
According to WSJ sources, an elite Ukrainian military unit carried out the attacks under Zaluzhny’s direct supervision, aiming to deprive Russia of energy revenues and weaken its economic ties with Germany.
The article recalls that suspects have already been detained across Europe and warns of serious fallout if a German trial against Ukrainian nationals begins. Such proceedings could further strain relations with Germany which is Ukraine’s top financial donor and key arms supplier, particularly of air defense systems.
Political pressure is also mounting on Merz, though his circle believes the issue can still be contained domestically. German society, sources say, has largely accepted that Kiev was responsible.
However, WSJ notes, the diplomatic consequences would be far easier for Berlin if investigators hadn’t gathered such compelling evidence against Ukraine. 🤣

A family member has a nice sewing machine stuffed in their attic. I’ve asked about borrowing it to teach myself to sew several times and they absolutely refuse. It’s frustrating, because several neighbors are paying almost as much for repairs as new cheap fashion and thrifting is barely serviceable for a few months; people are wearing clothes nearly ragged before donating.
I’m glad you are doing what you can, where you can.
Thank you. I have seen people cling to their machines as well without using them. Imo its deep rooted chauvinism that needs to be registered by us. I now have a ledger for people being dicks like this. When I have something to spare, they will be last in line.
Sorry for the teeth but i really despise the fact that poor people will give on average their last penny while the petite bourgeois will clutch their pearls like the guy in the hobbit. Not your fault, just my poverty trigger.
Anyhow, I’m doing my best to get people to come to the center and some to help but you can imagine how tough it is. People will positively suck you dry if you let them. Its a huge learning curve to be giving but not being bled out.
We might profit from a praxis community or discussion where comrades share their actions and experience to inspire others. Maybe i will learn to advertise better for the center, etc.
There’s no need to apologize, I have definitely been there. Anyway, “according to need” is definitely in order.
Lol. Yes I definitely stayed in that way of being about four decades too long! I’ve had plenty of downtime with sporadic bursts of activity, so I’ve spent that time learning my limits, and that “No” is definitely a complete sentence. Believe me when I say people better off than me were the ones who sulked most and longest. They got over it, though.
I feel that. It does beg the question if we should share some experiences and tipps on grad, like in general. Because i can imagine a lot of marxists will go like “okay i need to read 500 books and then i communism will be achieved” but have zero idea what to do in between.
Like, if i’m in school or at my apprenticeship, on a tough job or in an office, what can i do to help?
My thoughts would be something like:
And so on and so forth.
Where I am, there are office workers helping out, but it’s usually passing out donated food goods. The issue it seems, is the office people are extremely territorial, like they’re afraid they’ll be replaced or found doing something wrong (but I’ll wager the first).
Thats great analysis. I feel like this is good inspiration for in depth contemporary theory. I’ll think of a place to host this kind of stuff.
Edit: found one! Would you mind posting this there so we have it in one place and push the comm to active!

I was on the last sentence and my device crashed, comrade! I have things going on today, but intend to make the post tonight or in the morning.
Thank you very much! Have a great day comrade!
You are welcome and thank you, too.

A tool library could solve this problem maybe?
Its definitely not a bad idea. I’ll think about it.
Software in development to help that . . . https://neighborsgoods.com/
Damn thats great! Have sent it to my local comrades for consideration. Thank you very much!
Edit: would you mind posting it here to push the community so we have that as a center?
