Hi y’all! I’m subscribed to the “Garfield” community out of lemmy.world. However, I recently noticed that it hasn’t been federating to piefed. i.e. if I look at the following on a private tab on a web browser, the piefed version is missing the last month’s worth of posts:

Is this a bug or something I’m doing wrong or something else? Thanks for any guidance!

I found the cause - recent garfield posts have the 🔗 character in their body, which I added to our spam filter some time ago. I’ve removed it now so future posts will come through ok.

That’s weird. We’re receiving other posts from the person posting in that community…

Also, using my lemmy.world account I made a test post into that community and it came through to piefed.social successfully. When I deleted it the deletion came through too.

I have noticed this too occasionally on communities added. The community gets added to piefed, but one users posts on there - for some reason - don’t federate over to piefed.social. There’s got to be something in common with the users impacted as relates to piefed.social.
