Reid Southen is a successful concept artist who has worked for many of the biggest studios (Marvel, 20th Century Fox, Warner Bros, Paramount etc) on a lot of huge films (Matrix Resurrections, The Hunger Games, Transformers, and Alien, among others).
I’m not knowledgeable on where Midjourney gets its training data, but could it possibly be getting those from pirated uploads somewhere? Not arguing about the copyright infringement angle, just wondering if it may have inadvertently gotten them from that type of source.
