They had plenty of time to discover the reasons for opposing views and alternate media sources to see things from the other side. However, you’re partially right, at least, that I should have more empathy. I will try to remember it and make an attempt moving forward. At this point, their decisions have made my everyday life a nightmare, so it will be tough, but I guess I should still try.
