I don’t have much to say about this video, I am just glad that the bond is so strong and I hope that it doesn’t ever fall apart. I also love how Ben Norton always gets historical in his analysis which is something that I find lacking in a lot of political science, not all of it but a lot.
Also Xi Jinping is very tall, at least compared to Putin.
I very much agree, historical perspective is really important for understanding current events and the likely direction thing will take going forward. I find this is particular prevalent in US and Canada where there really isn’t much history, and people tend to lack appreciation for a civilizations like Russia or China with much deeper histories.
