    “obtaining immigration” - Can you say that in English? Sounds really wrong to me but I’m not a native speaker.

      Nope. Immigration is a process or an action, synonymous to ‘movement’, you cannot obtain it. You obtain a visa or a permit to perform immogration.

      You can say it but it won’t mean anything. Also “is absolutely mute” should be “are absolutely moot” and the semicolon is used incorrecty.
