Can you please show me on the doll where Trump is supporting your issues?

Maybe apathy could be beaten back if anybody attacked the real problem. Corporations are committing to a mating of the dinosaurs that will bring about kaijus the like of which we have never seen. The rest of the world enjoys healthcare while we have to go into massive debt just to get a checkup. The student loan thing was bomb, but there’s decades of brush here to clear and each president that makes no progress on these fronts signals they are okay with smothering future generations. They can take their pick, but you won’t beat back this brand new kind of blue without signaling daily you back the people and not the corporations. Which will never happen in the shadow of Reagan where everyone is a neoliberal.

Embracing the ethnic cleansing campaign in Gaza (young people aren’t as brainwashed towards Israel) and getting rid of TikTok basically guaranteed that he was going to lose the young vote.

Trump probably would have signed the TikTok ban too… but it doesn’t matter since Biden will take the blame.

Trump is probably going to win in November. We never know, because polls aren’t definitive (like 2016 where Trump won even though Clinton was beating him in polls)…

But Biden is incredibly unpopular. Trump was one of the most unpopular presidents in US history. Biden is even more unpopular. I think it’s actually a bit surreal out of 330 million people this is the best we could do. Our institutions are broken.

Biden has lost many people. Pretty much everytime he speaks or does something, he pisses off a little carve out of people. Tiktok ban. Genocide support. IRS audits. Pot rescheduling. Border issues. Economy.

Whatever it is, you’re not gaining Trump supporters. Nobody that is diehard Trump is voting for Biden. Ever. But you are eroding little enclaves of support. And that’s all it takes.

For example, his one word this week just cost him thousands of votes. Did the protests do anything to influence his Israeli policy? No. He just flat out said no. Not even an attempt at empathy or doing the usual politician dance that says nothing with a thousand words. Just flat out “no”. And he just lost thousands of votes.

Seriously if you want Biden to win, “lock him up”. Put him upstairs in the Whitehouse and don’t let him out. No interviews, no appearances. No speeches. No policy. Just shut up and go away and hibernate. Kamala too.

Let the news cycle be dominated by Trump trials.

This is the best summary I could come up with:

Unrest on college campuses is driven in part by an opposition to an unpopular Democratic president’s support for Israel.

Add in the fact that Democrats are holding their national convention in Chicago this year, and it’s not hard to hear echoes of 1968, when the protest movement collided with mainstream politics.

It extends far beyond their views of the Middle East, and it is a major threat to President Joe Biden’s campaign to keep Donald Trump from returning to the White House.

Among all Americans, about half – 47% of registered voters in CNN’s poll – said they were satisfied with the candidates they have to choose from for president this year.

When other potential candidates are added in, more than one-fifth of registered voters 18-34 say they support Robert F. Kennedy Jr. in his independent bid.

The Republican pollster Frank Luntz recently shared video with CNN’s Erica Hill of focus groups he conducted with young people in which he asked whether they regard American democracy as strong.

The original article contains 724 words, the summary contains 168 words. Saved 77%. I’m a bot and I’m open source!

Young voters are part of Democrats’ natural base of support, but Biden is actually 11 percentage points behind Trump among young voters 18-34 in a head-to-head match in a CNN poll conducted by SSRS and released over the weekend.

Biden is under water in every issue asked about in the CNN poll, according to Jennifer Agiesta, CNN’s polling director.

Asked whether they view Biden’s presidency as a success or a failure, 68% of younger Americans said it’s a failure, more than other age groups – and despite his high-profile efforts to address other issues of importance to young voters, including student debt relief.

The Dems piss me off so much. You’re up against Trump and this is “the best” you can do?!

Are you serious? You . . . He’s the most left since Carter and it took four years of no-shit insanity with a global pandemic on the top to get that!

Yeah, get your candidate up here but you’re too late for this one. Who is it by the way.

Theyve only had 3 years to push him left. Instead they went to brunch while Biden went further to the right.
