Couldn’t find this asked here before, so I’m starting a thread.
From the filters page, I’m attempting to block various posts with keywords in their names following the directive to “Use a comma between each word.” So far it doesn’t seem to be working whether adding spaces after the comma or not.
I’m testing by refreshing my subscribed feed as well as jumping in to communities where such posts are made. They still show up.
I’d rather not block the user for various reasons; just don’t want to see certain posts.
That setting blocks all posts in communities that have those keywords in their community name.
So if you put ‘thicc’ in there, you won’t see any posts in /c/thicc_moe
Whoops, so that’s it.
So without using a 3rd party app (I’m on FF desktop, browser), I guess I’ll just have to block the user.
PieFed has normal keyword filters for blocking posts. At https://piefed.social/user/settings/filters look for this area:

Lovely, thanks, solved!
What’s the hate against thicc moe? Why can’t Springfield’s most famous barman gain some weight?
I don’t have the slightest idea what that community is, assuming it exists. 😅
