Not a fan of the article throwing leftists and activists under the same bus with the Democratic party. Also rich how the author claims activists aren’t acting like it is an existential threat but they are dumb for not endorsing Biden.

They side with the laws enacted by the people, not the people. And all federal judges are appointed.
This doesn’t seem to be working as intended. We have “originalists” who turn that concept on it’s head and are explicitly a political project.
It’s a great narrative that happens to justify a power grab by the judicial branch; probably the least democratic of the three branches.
Can’t really answer the expense trade-off until you look at concrete use cases, something general AI is allergic to…

Detecting an LLM is a skill.
I have a different username, hopefully it doesn’t offend you somehow. Let me give you an example of what the other person meant: credit cards have replaced large parts of our social safety nets. We think of the convenience but we aren’t told how convenient credit was argued as a substitute for welfare programs. Now I’m getting ads to have groceries delivered on credit.
The revolution will not be televised. Can’t imagine that metaphor coming up on 60 minutes.
Hold up, you think I like the idea of Biden being around longer in our politics? Cause I don’t.
For every Bernie you get 10 Nancy Pelosi. No thanks.
Sounds like an even better reason to pass the law.
Ever heard of the Turing test? Ever since AIs could pass it it became not a thing.
In place of the Turing test we have a new test that informs us whether an individual can properly identify a stochastic parrot
Idk, the high fence has a more “talk to the hand” vibe: https://abcnews.go.com/amp/Politics/high-fence-erected-supreme-court-abortion-related-protests/story?id=84518199
But it’s also very gay, so it’s probably worth it.
He’s trying to prove that using policy on a group that goes on vibes. They won’t be convinced until he starts using undeniably racist statements they’ll insist isn’t racist.
I must’ve missed that announcement at the last antifa meetup.
