Blessed are the meek for they shall inherit discounted hardware
You both are right but one is more consequential. Let’s dive in:
Bombing Iran does not have bipartisan support, many Dems are voicing their opposition. The Dems even advanced a bill where the president would need congressional review to specifically bomb Iran in this instance.
The President making unilateral military decisions like bombing Iran does have bipartisan support. The Dems have not challenged it’s constitutionality or proposed significant changes on this front and instead go for a case by case congressional veto. This policy also aides in our genocidal program of Gaza…

Nah, just think people who are ignorant of their own laws should think more before they make their ignorance more widely known.

International law is what the CCP claims gives them the right. So no, I am not implying, I am stating it is relevant. Even if you disagree with the law, how do you expect this to be resolved peacefully without international law?

Let me guess, you don’t think they have a legal claim to the island under UN law?

I mean wasn’t it largely peaceful in the past? From China’s perspective they only need to act if Taiwan or other countries make public statements challenging their legal claim to the island, it is better for China to wait as the power dynamics are shifting in their favor. It is only the west that wants to force this issue to come to head now, while they still have a comparative advantage - but even now if China wants Taiwan there is little we can do keep that from happening (though the humanitarian cost would be staggering and likely hurt their standing internationally).
Edit: I also don’t see why mainland would suddenly pivot on the issue, there’s seems very little reason to expect them to change course.

Pssh, mine uses a random number generator for odd numbers to return true 4% of the time to achieve higher accuracy and a bettor LLM metaphor

But can an LLM go on Epstein’s plane and get blackmailed?

You didn’t define authoritarianism or specifically say how it is so in this case, leaving us to guess and you to say we guessed wrong.

I’m sure the market will innovate and give us rentable biometrics.

A manager. This tool is for what managers think software development is: managing the production of code. From that perspective this hype makes a lot of sense, just turn all your current developers into managers with AI and you now have grown the team by 10x. You can go back in time and find many jokes about how adding more developers doesn’t speed up delivery but slows it down. I don’t see how AI would suddenly make that less true, especially since the AI is not accountable for its results, you are.

I’m an immigrant who committed multiple counts of voter fraud just like the GOP says. That is why I am a Republican, they’re right about who we are.

Meh, you both deserve each other honestly. Too concerned with being right that we all lost focus of what is good.

I would march too, it’s too easy to satire the movement. Signs like “Bill Gates did nothing wrong on Epstein’s Island” or “Peter Thiel is not a vampire” seem like a good fit for the event.
My advice is to stick to making specific observations as not to sound hyperbolic.
Yet at the same time what is needed is a counter-narrative to “AI can do the job”. My observation is the industry cycles between agile and waterfall development and people (who are the loudest) are using AI to do waterfall development. This is a bad idea for the same reasons waterfall development is bad: trying to write a spec that covers all situations is counterproductive.
The alternative I see is that we borrow from Agile and treat AI as a pair developer that you outsource small (or largely repetitive) tasks to. This is not vibe coding nor is it TDD as you are still actively developing all levels of the code, but your feedback loop (OODA) is kept short.
