I read the article, I wrote the previous post because 350k is a lot of money but is not that far from 500k, the amount for an investors visa in Italy and I don’t know the amount for that IN Germany
There usually is a big amount of money that if invested in country’s long term stock, grant you citizenship. I think for Italy is 500k euros, don’t know about Germany
That means A LOT less money for the locals. Where I live that strategy is used by villages that are dying, unpopolated although beautiful, not by places too visited
Living in a city based on tourism, I think I can understand the inhabitants of the Canaries but I fear the only possible outcome will be to elevate the offer, skyrocket the prices and become an elitarian destination
Unfortunately that’s hard to happen
I personally don’t like it and I don’t use it too much, but since its features, I don’t see how we can complain: nothing is free, they sure have costs
Tbf, I saw the early videos coming from X (and I’m not on X)
They don’t need adv, users are locked inside their platform - so they protect their users from the outside while they use them from the inside (in the end not much different from the others)
