That doesn’t really follow logically… a 15 year old can find the mistakes a 5 year old makes. The detection system might be something other than an LLM, while the LLM might be gpt2.

But yes humans write messily so trying to detect ai writing when it’s literally trained on humans is a losing battle and at this point completely pointless.

Kinda yes, but in actuality no. Unless we get rid of the nickel as well, the treasury is required by law to replace the pennies removed from circulation with nickels. Nickels cost even more to mint, as a percentage of their value, than pennies, so it’s actually going to cost the taxpayers even more money.

But yes we no longer have to deal with pennies. Turns out we should actually get rid of dimes and quarters too, but that ain’t gonna happen anytime soon.

in India, there is a religious group that believes/ed bodies should be donated to the sky. they laid out the bodies for the vultures to take them. The entire body would be picked clean in less than a day, going directly back to nature. Sadly most of the vultures are gone now, due to pharmaceuticals. Strangely vultures can consume cyanide and other crazy poisons, but not certain pharmaceuticals that help humans.

with Home Assistant it doesn’t matter if your device adds a Google Home connection, Alexa, Apple Home, etc. Exactly what ‘smart homes’ should be.

Git isn’t a blockchain. Blockchain requires mistrust, else it’s just previous technology that existed decades before.

Transcription software has existed for decades and has no need for AI. It doesn’t need to interpret anything you’re saying, shoving AI into it is literally just making things worse.

Why isn’t it just deleted by default. A government that actually cared about its citizens wouldn’t let the data be sold off at all.

I do not think the majority of people would agree that chat is a textual representation of a conversation. It’s its own thing and this is evident by slang, leetcode, emoticons, emoji, and euphemisms (🍆💦). How people talk over text is completely different than how they speak in real life, especially when they’re typing fast.
