Oh, hey, I already did that! I’ll have you know that once I did, my computer was no longer broken and my life changed— Colors became more vivid. Birdsong sounds sweeter. Food tastes better. My wife got even hotter. And I even discovered the secret to nuclear fusion!

Joking aside, ever since switching to Linux, my machine had never run better.

I use Fedora KDE Plasma and it’s wonderful, but my machine is pretty new compared to what you’ve got there. As for widgets and panels, what do you mean complex? I’ve had no issues with them.

I’m right there with you. The only difference I can think of is that if there are no other widows open, it won’t switch to viewing the desktop. (This is only actually a problem when doing something like playing a fullscreen game, as anything else can just be minimized.)

Well, I’m glad it’s not as devastating as I thought. I’m just sick and tired of the selfish, entitled trash in this world not giving a damn about anything but their vacations and nail appointments and stock options. Anyway, stay safe up there!
