Not true in my experience, I would say the majority of windows users I see these days use edge and bing. Most don’t use copilot though

Technology@lemmy.world•How One Uncaught Rust Exception Took Out CloudflareEnglish
811·13 days agoIt’s crazy that cloudflare of all people even had unwrap enabled. Whenever I use unwrap in some tiny little not important thing I always treat it as a temporary thing that I need to come back and fix before the software is actually ready for anyone to seriously use

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Why is bicycle riding so controversial in America?
1·16 days agoI was only complaining about bikes trying to ride through crowds in pedestrian only areas and not stopping at crosswalks, but jaywalking is a stupid crime anyway. pedestrians should always have the right of way unless you are like jumping out in front of a vehicle where they would have to slam on the brakes

31·17 days agoI barely notice them when I’m driving, I’m mostly talking about when I’m walking. But yeah obviously it’s not every bicycle, but it is a lot in my area

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Why is bicycle riding so controversial in America?

95·17 days agoI think part of it is that there are a lot of bike riders in US cities that are jerks, especially to pedestrians. When I’m crossing the street, bikes and scooters virtually never stop for me and just try to weave around me, and I once got hit by a scooter that was illegally riding on the sidewalk, which they constantly do here. I’m certainly not anti-bike because of that, but I can kind of understand why some people would be

Is there no way to play roblox currently? I thought there was a launcher that did weird stuff to the android version like we have for minecraft bedrock
A while ago I setup the world’s least windowsy windows vm where I replaced all the basic windows applications with KDE stuff and the desktop with cairo shell. It wasn’t very good but that was mostly the fault of windows being terrible and cairo shell being annoying
I really want to try a topre keyboard but I haven’t come across one cheap or free yet and they’re so expensive usually

I’m more upset by the idea of grouping your images by format and then splitting jpeg into two groups depending on which extension is used
