Technology@lemmy.world•Twitch allowing more nudity after disproportionately banning female streamers | Twitch confirmed its policy banning nudity was sexist.English
51·2 年前I very much agree with you, but I’m not sure the concept easily translates to online media.
I’ve gone to nudist waterparks since I was 14, and my mother sometimes took me to the sauna at an even younger age, so basically grew up with non-sexualised nudity. But it took some social feedback to learn it, like learning the difference between looking and staring.
That last aspect is lost when it comes to streaming or videos. There is nothing preventing you from sexualising any nudity on screen.

801·2 年前I’m all for allowing nudity in general, but it would be nice if you could actually block it or at least remove it from your recommendations.
One time I accidently clicked on one of these bathtub streamers and since then there always is one in my recommendation, with no way to remove it. I literally had to install a browser extention “Unwanted Twitch” to finally get rid of it.

9·2 年前The current theory is nuclear weapons along with satellite energy weapons are being destroyed by benevolent “aliens” who are trying to help humanity from killing itself.
This is not news … this is just insane.
Well it’s yellow on the map the other guy linked.
The yellow says “CBD weed with < 1% THC”.
That’s like saying underaged drinking is legal because alcohol-free beer is unrestricted.
With the exception of a medical perscription weed it’s very much not decriminalised in Switzerland.
The map just seems to show random cities. There is 3 in France and Russia.

11·2 年前Most governments indoctrinate their people with lies
I agree, but one wrong doesn’t justify another one.
I hope you can see my point, that standing on the moral basis of the modern western societies can make it seem like people, who live their lifes following different rules, may be “backwards” or “morally inferior” but you are lacking the logical foundation to claim something like that.
Not sure there is much of a point. Morality in an entirly human invented concept, no one has any fundation for it other than their personal believes. If I believe people that follow religious rules are backwards that claim is just as logical founded as a religions person thinking I’m am infidel that will burn in hell. It’s all made up. Some of the made up stories are just way stupider than others.
