I don’t know, forums were much smaller back in the day. You could find a good community, because it was possible to organize one. But I don’t think that’s possible at today’s scale.

I simply envy you because you live in some world where this is the problem worth discussing and getting angry. Or your head is full of shit. It’s probably the latter, given that you put people joking about Arch Linux to the same category as racists and misogynists. In this case, I don’t envy, but pity you.
Web Development With Assembly
O’NO
This will continue until you’re part of the intended audience.
Okay, it won’t stop even then.
Ah, yes, another user offended by a joke posted to a community with memes.
Whataboutism in replies? Color me surprised.
I can’t believe this is still not possible to do. I could create an endless amount of panels and move them anywhere I want in Linux 20 years ago, but a corporation with a three trillion dollars market cap can’t do that in 2024??
pacman -S nvidia
and I’ve never had any issues. I know that it’s not that easy in some other distros, but maybe stop using shitty distros.
Have a nice life, I won’t be spending anymore time on you.
Thank you.
I’m not “inventing” arguments, you’re just ignoring explanations.
I didn’t ask you for any explanations. Don’t take too much responsibility on yourself and play the lecturer. You failed to understand what they were trying to say, I tried to help. That’s it. I’m not here for your explanations, you have neither expertise nor credibility to teach others.
People think they’re bad now, because Hillary and the media said
No, this particular user thinks polls are bod because younger voters, who are more likely to vote for Democrats, are not going to pick up calls from random numbers. They were very clear. Why are you inventing arguments that were never mentioned in the discussion?
Like, what is your version of what’s happening that polls aren’t reliable now?
Didn’t they explain?
In this case it’s clearly biased against people who don’t answer random numbers. The “not answering” cohort may be correlated with other population groups like people with higher education and higher earnings. The survey may be systematically missing this chunk of the population, making the results biased too.
Higher educated democrats not surveyed -> the survey misses their opinions -> the survey is wrong when the results come in at election time.
Truth social sounds so silly translated to Russian. I wonder if it’s as silly in English to native English speakers.
I get the sense that a lot of people here don’t use MacOS.
I wish that was true.
I mean, you and I known MS could simply ask…
No.

That’s the best known case, but it’s not limited to organ donation of course.
they want that slide that says x many million users of Copilot…
I didn’t argue with that.
No, because most people stick with the default option regardless.
Ultimately, most people stay with the default option, that’s why they have to be aggressive. Look at the amount of screenshots even in advanced PC communities with ugly useless search bar enabled, which is taking 1/3 of the taskbar. I’m not even speaking about casual users who have no idea that it can be disabled.
I don’t think that GIMP should be the same, but it does have issues with usability. And when you search “how to do X in gimp”, you’ll probably find a 10 steps guide, while in PS that’d be a couple of clicks. There’s no DDS plugin that supports all compression methods at all. There are so many things that won’t go away no matter how many seconds or minutes or years you’ll put into learning GIMP.
