Newsflash: businesses don’t operate in a vacuum no matter how much one whining man wants them to. Part of running a business is paying attention to how current events affect your operations and working proactively and flexibly to keep things running.
It’s as if the business owners who voted for not-this-guy knew that his election would be bad for their businesses and didn’t want it to happen!
Don’t give us a pass. We’re American and participating in this system. We prop it up by paying taxes and continuing to buy goods and services from companies whose focus is shareholder profits, not better performance for the buyers or better pay or conditions for the workers. This is how it’s designed to work: a ton of American companies are incorporated in Delaware because of the financial benefits they get, and in Delaware, a company has a legal obligation to work towards shareholder profit. That’s the law on the books. There’s nothing about improving product/service quality, but we’ve got laws to make sure the money people get the lion’s share of the benefit from everybody’s labor.
There are plenty of Americans who didn’t vote for this guy and hate literally everything about him and what he stands for, but until we recognize our complicity in the way the country works and start changing our shopping habits, there just aren’t any innocent Americans.
He’s successful enough at minding his keepers to be appointed ambassador. He’s got all the qualifications he needs to work for the Chump administration!

Her potential voters have to suffer for her racist idiocy because that was the choice she made. Her beliefs, her decisions, and her actions took options away from a lot of people. That’s the job she’s applying for, one in which she makes those kinds of decisions for about 800k people. I wouldn’t hire her.

It’s about our failure to uphold the deal we made with Ukraine to get them to agree to nuclear disarmament.
It’s about deciding not to honor contracts made during the last administration, saying that they no longer apply, and allowing the people who benefited from USAID abroad (and tons of federal, formerly dependable paychecks at home) to fall off without even an acknowledgement of wrongdoing, while yelling that anybody who isn’t hand-over-fist greedy isn’t American.
I’ve been saying this since he first started campaigning: STOP GIVING HIM STUFF. HE GOES AWAY WHEN YOU STOP LISTENING TO HIM AND GIVING HIM YOUR STUFF.
