So, I should use PowerBI when I get a weirdly formatted .txt file with data I want to analyze, get my insights, do calculations on etc. and will never use again after? Thats what I use PQ for, format/ combine data from different sources in a way I can use. I don’t need dashboards or fancy charts someone can click on.

And no, python is not the tool for me. I am not getting paid to learn a programming language, I don’t have time for this at work. I would have to learn and program a lot of python to do what I can do in PQ in a few minutes. I don’t even know, if I am allowed to execute a self written python script on my work PC.

Typical Samsung product. Good hardware, acceptable build quality/ material selection, horrible software.

On mine you can’t even select the input manually, the monitor always cycles through every input. Couldn’t find anything on input 2 I just plugged in? Let’s do another round of checking all inputs for 10 seconds, and again, and again… And always finish on the input you started, or turn off if no active input is found.

Software always destroys their products.

With v29 (release probably in march) they are changing the UI framework, the last thing preventing it on any other OSs. In the latest live stream on YouTube they hinted that they would look into a Linux port if there is enough interest. 3 of 4 hosts in the stream gave a thumbs up for Linux, so there is hope.

Compared to other CAD its cheap as hell. Especially if you don’t need the all features, you can get Atom3D for less than 300€. For everyone interested: wait for promotions, the price is heavily discounted a few times per year.
