  • sorry, I don’t understand this part:

However, I always order to the online store’s own office directly (usually without even creating the account - instead asking an employee),

you mean ordering from a store’s website that also has a physical store nearby? and by asking an employee, you mean asking in person at the shop, right?

if so, I think that would work here too. but most of my online purchases are from shops that don’t have a physical store, maybe at all anywhere, so I can’t apply this technique

  • or that some part of the encryption, like key handling is flawed. also, considering they have an RCE vulnerability every year, I wouldn’t be surprised if the encryption keys could just be stolen remotely.

we also don’t know if facebook has implemented some kind of analytics for message content, sent files and media.

  • well that section has a few not so effective services, like authy, and imo brave and adblock, to depict what people believe at that point. and telegram probably gets to be there because it’s not the usual big tech companies, and it seems fine, even if unencrypted.

Only 1:1 chats may be encrypted as an opt-in.

and only on the phone app

  • would it be possible to repost it elsewhere? maybe not even to lemmy, but to some markdown compatible paste service, and it could be linked in the footnote of another post of yours, or something like that. if the instance admin gets upset over that, we really should just remove us from their control.
Recently I read that many are now blocking lemmy.ml communities anyway to strip away the admins’ influence

but at least Kraken in the United States still does,

oh, forgot that it’s a regional thing

There just aren’t many small peer-to-peer traders yet, but that will occur over time

hopefully, but I was thinking earlier about it and with how the security deposit system works, it may be more risky to do it in small quantities (but then, the monero buyer doesn’t get the monero until they paid, so I’m not sure what I was thinking about). and of course, I imagine that in smaller quantities it would have a higher pricing too
