They do use the same software. I think it is a good idea they run a separate instance, so the hosting costs are automatically covered by the government for the code they develop. This also avoids the centralization on a single provider.

Good luck, corporations and governments will make even that increasingly hard with essential apps requiring tampering attestations from the big vendors, so you may need two devices.

Technically, third party app stores are allowed. Developers “only” register with google to receive a developer certificate. Isn’t apple doing the same thing in response to the EU regulations and that has been allowed?

There are multiple development projects for megawatt chargers with MCS plugs active in the EU, so I guess there will be some. There are already locations with multiple 300kW chargers, so replacing a few of them with a single megawatt charger should be possible.

I mean if you get it in a mail and then use a qr code reader you should be able to skip the decode step if the qr code contents were included directly as a link. If the code does not contain a link, then using a qr code reader won’t help I think, and there will be no way to forward it to the correct banking app.

Look if you can directly share the image with your banking app.

Or see if the qr code scanner in your banking app can open a local image file.

That would require mining operations to be cheaper than the higher chinese export prices. I do not know if that is possible with labour costs, environmental requirements, permits and other obligations.

With their slow print speed, those cheaper tank inkjets are maybe usable for mostly paperless offices, or a home user that likes to print more often. You’d have to print at least one or two color pages per month to keep the jets clean.
