A hit piece on Nazis?
A hit piece on Nazis?
Well you should subtract out the kids. I’m not going to get irritated about someone under the age of 18 not voting. That’s why it should be eligible voters, not Americans.
Different take:
In other words, Buffett specialized in finding “undervalued” issues on the market. Such opportunities arise occasionally, he says, because in the short run the stock market acts like a “voting machine” (reflecting all kinds of irrational attitudes and expectations), while functioning in the long run more like a “weighing machine” (reflecting a firm’s true value).

Either way, DJT is a shorting opportunity.
Drive through seems like a great proving ground. Record every drive through customer / cashier interaction. Match each recording up with the transaction entered into the register. Train a model by having the model “listen” to the recording to predict what the order should look like, then match it to the items on the transaction receipt.
Then, phase 1 of implementation is to use the model in real time by listening to the live conversation at the drive through, predicting what it thinks the order should be, then prompting the cashier to double-check the order to see if the human made a mistake entering the order if the prediction doesn’t match.
Phase 2 is human-supervised, where the order taking system interacts directly with the customer to take the order, the human checks the result, and is able to step in / take over if there’s a mistake or a special case the order system can’t handle.
Phase 3 is “fuck your entry level employment” and no human is monitoring the system.
All 3 phases seem completely doable to me at this point, depending on how much backlash MCD is willing to deal with.
I’m pretty confident they weren’t born before 1789, when that amendment was proposed.
Pretty good odds no amendment has been proposed and ratified in that person’s lifetime.
Not in your lifetime.

Nah, it’s more than that. Conservativism is about the in group obtaining and excercising power over the out group.
Blatant hypocrisy is just another demonstration of power. “Look at what I can do and you can’t do anything about it.”.
John McCain, member of the Keating 5? That John McCain?
In the context of discussing gag order violations, yes, he said something similar to that. I don’t remember the exact phrase he used.
And then it can be overturned!
Right! Precedent, like Roe v Wade!
I need to watch it again, I think I’d understand it better the second time.
Hadn’t heard that one before. Had to think about it for a couple of seconds.
Upvoted.
“Houston…too close to New Orleans”
Imagine if musk could make billions of dollars on his stock if he quit his job, lol.
Ah yes. The Ballmer manoeuvre.
Anyway.
Passkeys sound great. Where’s the support for Firefox, Proton Pass? Bitwarden has it.
Meh, not really. Control 51 seats in the Senate and a majority of the supreme Court and you can do pretty much whatever the fuck you want to as president. We have not yet found the boundary where a president will be held accountable under those conditions.
