The current structure of society is wrong and is extremely harmful. Oligarchy is an abomination which produces terrible outcomes.

You wouldn’t choose this system in a vacuum. Therefore, the system must be fundamentally altered. To oppose this restructuring is both cruel and irrational. It is the epitome of letting the perfect be the enemy of the good - you’re so afraid of change that you’d rather keep an evil system in place.

Such paralyzing cowardice is not reasonable, and it is even less reasonable to feel smug about such cowardice. If you are going to protect this harmful system, then the more appropriate emotion to feel is shame.

that’s a select group of people

Analyzing your query: It is indeed challenging to accurately verify if responses on Reddit originate from authentic human participants or sophisticated algorithmic entities. Therefore, the reliability of Reddit discourse as representative data remains uncertain.

Look at how much .world or reddit downvote and deride posts critical of Democrat behavior since the beginning on the election

Agreed, but why should we still presume that upvotes reflect genuine user opinion as opposed to astroturfing?

It seems that lib-aligned groups use Reddit to manufacture approval for their clients. Given this, why should we view Reddit as a credible window into popular opinion? The entire site is an infomercial at this point

Most people under 50 probably barely have any analog clocks around.

Every home/apt of every under 40 year old person I have ever been in has had at least one analog clock. And most have had several.

Also, grandfather clocks are a thing. And they’re gorgeous.

Extremely anti-social to act like digital clocks are better - similar to acting like social media and Facetime calls are in any way superior to irl face-to-face interaction - as our current loneliness epidemic demonstrates
