People just misunderstand what the voting is for.
I think there should be four options for voting: agree / disagree / is relevant / is irrelevant, where the first three pushes the entry up, and the last push it down.
There’s a Southpark episode where aunt Flo visits, and they say she visits every month and stays for a week. So I guess it’s a common saying in USA, at least.
The lingonberry one was pretty common where I grew up in a Swedish speaking area in Finland, so I know that one is real.

6·7 months agoBut you can’t say that it’s fake or broken just because it’s unprobable, unless there’s supposed to be some additional safe guards to prevent the same random value from repeating within a certain distance from itself.

3·7 months agoOne pretty safe way is if you get a separate drive for Linux and completely swap out the Windows one. It’s not dual booting but at least you can switch back if it doesn’t work out for you.
Just make sure you have whatever you need to get the Windows drive working again if it’s encrypted.
