Which was wrong. Tetanus is not caused by rust. It’s caused by punctures. You can get tetanus from a perfectly metallic silver nail. Rust just provides handy nooks and crannies for the tetanus microbe to sit and wait. If I remember right, it was a fishing hook on an unused pole in an otherwise clean house/ closet. Unlikely it would have tetanus lingering.

Settle down Mr. Moranis.
If it’s desiccant you could bake it at 250F for about an hour. It should turn a different color. Then if you re-wet it, it will go back to that color.
But if it’s not desiccant, you might just melt some plastic or cause it to pop or something else.

when the general populace voted for an continue to support this
Did they though? Only 63.4% of voting eligible citizens voted in '24. And of those only 49.8% voted for trump. He has never won a majority of the popular vote. Ever. It’s due to the electoral college and the cap on representatives in the house. This gives a significant advantage to lower population states that typically lean republican. Those rules seemed to make sense before we could reasonably collect, count results, and communicate that info in a day. Those rules no longer make sense but as it benefits the republicans they will hold that hill until they die. This country would be shaped very differently if we used the popular vote.

To expand on that, they likely aren’t going to come after a private household. It’s to keep farmers in their pocket. They will go after a commercial farm though. It borders on a subscription service to seeds. Fucking dystopia.

No one would bat an eye if your opinion was simply that you couldn’t see your life having any meaning without kids. But you go on further to say that you don’t see how the lives of people choosing not to have kids has any meaning. Consider one of those families with more than a dozen kids looking down on you for not having enough kids. Saying they don’t understand how your life has any meaning when you could still be having babies.
Look up the stock market around March 2020. Huge dip then rebound to pretty much the same trajectory. As long as you left your stuff to sit, you’re still doing fine. There’s no reason to think the massive rebound would have still occurred without the dip.

E: For all the “What about the elderly or disabled?” If they can’t walk a few blocks and also can’t afford a car or taxi/Uber, what should they do? Mobility devices exist. Handicap accessible buildings are federally required. Your argument is merely a thought terminating interruption. That problem can easily be addressed.
I specifically look for negative reviews before buying something. I haven’t really put numbers to a ratio of good to bad where I feel reassured about buying something but I’m sure it’s there. If your product has 5000 reviews with no bad ones, something is fucked up. If the majority of the reviews are “the delivery guy spiked the package on my porch and it was broke I’D GIVE ZERO STARS IF I COULD” then that’s a little better. Someone somewhere is going to have a legit grievance. I want to know what that is.
