The US Congress is legislative branch. Congress is divided into the Senate and House of Representatives.
What makes it confusing is that representatives are also referred to as “congressman” but senators are onky called senators. Despite both being members of Congress.
The House won’t pass the bill.
I’m American so I have never followed Eurovision. I always assumed it was European only. Are there many none European countries that participate? The USA doesn’t right?
I thought it was saying that the actual tech companies were preparing to get attacked by the drones.
To be fair, they do typically need staff that are paid by themselves. They need a residence in DC and their home state too.
They didn’t actually lie under oath. They say that the ruling is precedent and settled law. They do not say that they would not overturn precedent.
And they will always argue that you do not want a justice that is not willing to overturn pass precedents. If not for overturning past precedents, segregation, etc. would still be legal.
I think its expected for a conservative to make bad-faith arguments. In principle I agree that since justices are not supposed to be partisan politicians should not be asking how the justice would rule on a future case. But it is bullshit that the nominee doesn’t have to give real answers to their thoughts on past cases.
Same at my Costco. They have 6 or maybe even 9 “self checkouts” and each is manned by an employee who scans everything without removing anything from the cart. Its basically a compact checkout. Recently was in another area and the Costco had true self checkouts with weight sensors messing up and requiring employee overide and all. It was a pain in the ass.
Before I read the article I assumed she was proud of bomb threats against her by libs she pissed off… but no. She is proud she inspired her followers to make bomb threats. What a psycho.
Going to trial may have cost her millions in lawyers. $200k may not have been enough.
