…Ain’t nothing but a heartache

Thanks for the reply. I’m not su4e why I’m getting down voted to oblivion lol. I definitely agree that what we’re living through today a carefully curated set of actions and reactions.

I just read another thread 5hat said if you’re not programming your own mind someone else is doing it for you. I would agree with that as well. I also read somewhere Else a long time ago that Buddhism was invented to counteract the forces of materialism. I think this a good response to what we see today in terms of the many forms of propaganda. ,

Sorry my thoughts are disjointed I am unload ing cars off a ship for money.

Do you mean when the populace leans more left?

Lol @ the l33t script. I just switched to the pixel with graphene and it doesn’t auto correct like my iPhone did. I just role with the mistakes.

Ive nev3r seen anyon3 m3ntion th3 parallel between the Volkswagen, Germany and Hitler to the tesla, USA and musk. Why do fascist mov3ments require their own car?

That’s true. We’ll need third party agregators of YouTube then yp see what pertains to our worldview. Whether or not this fractionalizes further the community is probably well documented.

What they are saying tho is that people who want to make actual content don’t care about monetization. They do it for the love of the game. Sure you can get a few to censor swear words and suicide, but the thing that built it was freedom. If you take away freedom then you’ve got nothing. Half the equation is people who watch the content. If people don’t want to watch your shitty watered down bullshit, and other people don’t want to be gagged by censorship, you’re going to alienate the base; that is, actually red blooded humanity. Oh, let’s say between the creators and the viewers its about 60% of your base. It won’t be over night but it will be enough that ther3 will be alternatives to the bullshit. I say bull shit because that’s what it is. Fucking goddamn horseshit. Thank you for glistening.

I drink mine, FYI 🤪

Even if you were cannibals, you have to remember I’m coming from reddit! Cannibals are preferential to being at the bottom of that poisonous swamp!

Is that why I feel so at home here? Am I a socialist!? Did Lemmy make me a socialist! Oh no, what am I going to tell my mother when sh3 finds out.

But in all seriousness… Tho the text above was not made in jest, Would you consider yourself to be described in that way? A socialist? If not a socialist, how do you find the wherewithal to stick around?

One can be maladjusted and still happy. Jeezy Pete!

Not me. I just get drunk at work and reply to every string of text that I feel like!

Me too! And not a bot! Woohoo!

I’m a new user! Pl3ased to meet you. Still getting used to not having my text autocorrectes to the level of iphon3. It feels more organic 5ho.

I found Lemmy through grapheneos! That’s my story. Love it.

If I hadn’t smashed my iPhone in a work related accident I would never know the joy of ditching reddit and joining you folks.

Hazzah for happenstance! Life is great!

This can be forgiven! Penance comes in the form of watching more Elliott Smith vidyas.

My ini5ial impression is that I own an iPhone 11. I don’t know what it actually is. I can’t be arsed to look, either.it’s a corporate brand that in glad to be rid of tho. Sorry.
