The taste of ‘both-siding’ in the morning leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Israel backed, armed gangs run rampant and while i absolutely despise how hamas runs things i find it interesting that “the peace parties” ignore the facts on the ground: these gangs funded by Israel are there to continue the war with other means so Israel is content with only killing a few civilians per day directly.

This is however not true as it really depends on the relationship the Atheist (or any other person really) has with their father.

If the father is lying all the time or betraying trust i am sure it would be normal to “not believe their father”.

If the father is caring and worthy of trust, children will believe them for these known qualities.

I hope some people find the time to protest tomorrow. Our government gets ever shittier, not giving a single fuck about Palestine or their constituents.

Taiwan is not going to be invaded as long as the chinese think they have more to lose than to gain.

It is going to become tricky as soon as the U.S. is distracted with a major conflict somewhere else.

Every country acts primarily within economic self-interest. Pretending other nations are bad because they don’t follow our sanctions is just a farce. Instead we could follow our pretense of upholding values and sanction israel.

While i do still have hope to eventually have democracy again i doubt that our system can be saved as we still can not stop even the destruction we are part of.

I know it might be tiring to hear it, but if we can’t even solve the crisis in the middle east, a situation we help on NOT solving, i don’t see a way forward. Which values are left in government but the blind service to our current economic model? Every decision, chat-control aswell, is a tool to keep our economy, dependent on instability and oppression, running.

By now everyone should know that nothing of this is done in favor of the human race or even the population these governments pretend to represent. Representation only works when you represent the will of those people. Not even real pretense is left. Instead all i hear is why we can’t have what we need (affordable housing, good health, working infrastructure, public transport just to name a few) and instead need to offer more of that to our “god”, the economy.

On the other hand i see fellow protesters in germany arrested for speaking out against an apartheid state and a complicit media afraid to speak out clearly against the horrors commited by the israeli regime.

The leader i am currently most pissed at, is for obvious reasons (being German), Kanzler Merz. But the former government has just been as complicit and what makes it worse is that they pretended to be left leaning. Makes me want to puke.

They are supposed to be monitoring your health (blood pressure, pulse). I think they also try to make some claims about your sleep pattern.

Essentially it is a gadget for people trying to “optimize” their lifes.

We are silent when our Ally kills thousands of people on purpose and starves people to death so why would we speak up against a racist autocrat among us?

Tbh i don’t, i just would love to be wrong but seeing all the shit we’ve done and still are doing? It is rough. Especially the cries for more military spending are driving me nuts. Having to forego any needed investments in the last decades only to have all that money ready as soon as the drums of war starting to beat fucking suuuuuuucks. I am not even american and still it is the same song.

I mean this is clearly to be expected. The russian people have suffered many times from rulers that only understand their people as resources.

We should be looking at this and do the opposite: Invest in schools, education, infrastructure and culture. Those however are the very things we save money first and i am unsure how other countries are faring but in germany we were told we need to save money. Years after years. Now all of a sudden we have hundreds of billions for weapons again.

Like i get it, we prepare for war but i sure don’t have to cheer it on. And to be honest, reading about russia every day does only increase the dread.

I asked my self yesterday: At what economical price would come peace in ukrain with designing something that lets them keep their right to self determination. I have no idea but sending them weapons seems to be the economical answer we found.
