Internet itself is really hostile, among the parts of the internet that I’ve been to, this one is so far the most civilized of them.
Things at tesla are not as bad as they should be.
I don’t know about the word capitalism here. The company trying to push it’s own controlled product might not like standards, at least when they feel like they can trap enough customers. But people, which includes people working for governments, can benefit of the agility of having less barriers.

Boycott might be the normal word to say it. I still call it having some basic principles.
We only notice when they are wrong, but they can also be right just by accident.

It’s bad design for Espressif the same as it’s bad design for Broadcom, Texas Instruments, and any other vendor that uses it. This issue is now being tracked as CVE-2025-27840.
If they only know twitter then you could understand a bit the confusion.
